Arbitration

Arbitration is a time and cost saving alternative to litigation as it provides a streamlined and timely hearing process resulting in a prompt, final decision.  Generally, parties are represented by their own attorney. The arbitrator essentially serves a "private judge". Arbitration provides privacy and allows the parties to control the pace of proceedings. Parties can also decide whether the arbitrator will decide all or just certain issues. As lawyers, we have represented numerous clients in private arbitration and have served as private and court appointed arbitrators and bring the necessary skill, knowledge and experience to the table.  Binding arbitration is generally best suited for divorce and support matters as child custody and child support are always modifiable.
